ALDA, ORTHODONTIC ASSISTANT
(with our practice for almost 12 years)
JOB DESCRIPTION/EOUIPMENT:
I’m also a lab technician and coordinator, making study models used at the consultation visit by Dr. Stone. I make a variety of appliances and some minor repairs when needed. I also make adjustments on appliances when necessary.
INVOLVEMENT WITH PATIENTS:
Although I started working in general dentistry, I chose and prefer to work in orthodontics because of the opportunity of getting to know the patients on a personal as well as professional level. I also speak Portuguese fluently; therefore I am able to translate for those who need it.
FAMILY/HOBBIES/PETS:
I am married with two children. My daughter is in college and loves to play softball. My son is in high school and loves to play football. My husband and I enjoy the outdoors and motorcycling. We also go to as many of the kids’ games as we can.
BONNIE, OFFICE MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION/EQUIPMENT:
I work very hard to help families with their treatment, account, and insurance concerns. I take great pride in working to make all aspects of the orthodontic experience as smooth as possible for our patients and families!
INVOLVEMENT WITH PATIENTS:
I love that our specialty allows us to see our patients and our patients' families on such a regular basis! It's a privilege that our patients share with us their family occasions, stories, joys and in some cases, sorrows. Each patient, in whatever might be their own unique way, touches me personally--they really do.
FAMILY/HOBBIES/PETS:
Good food, good company, and good conversation is still my favorite hobby! I also fish, hike, snowmobile, read, cook, and sometimes study languages for fun.
DEBBIE, FRONT DESK COORDINATOR

JOB DESCRIPTION/EOUIPMENT:
I'm the front desk person who can answer three phone lines, schedule visits at the front desk window, let the assistants know who's arrived, photocopy and answer questions for Dr. Stone ALL AT THE SAME TIME!
INVOLVEMENT WITH PATIENTS:
I love trying to recognize and guess the name of the patient that just ran by my window at 60 mph to get to the Nintendo machine!
FAMILY/HOBBIES/PETS:
I live in Hudson with my husband Jim and our three boys: Jimmy, Jared, and Justin.
LAUREN, ORTHODONTIC ASSISTANT

JOB DESCRIPTION/EQUIPMENT:
As a clinical assistant I am a part of treatment from the minute you walk through the door. Once treatment begins, I help in taking diagnostic records. I will then develop the diagnostic X-rays for Dr. Stone to evaluate. I also get the patient's teeth prepared for the braces to be applied. I will instruct you on the proper care of your new braces and appliances. Each month, I work directly with you at your appointment. I am also in charge of supply management.
INVOLVEMENT WITH PATIENTS:
I enjoy having fun with the patients while building lasting relationships. I love being a part of improving the self-confidence and smiles of our patients. My favorite part of treatment is watching the patients' eyes light up as they see their new smile for the first time.
FAMILY/HOBBIES/PETS:
I live in Hudson with my husband Mike and son J.D. My husband Mike likes to stay busy working full time and landscaping on the side. My son J.D. is busy playing hockey year round. I have 2 beautiful Great Danes named Phoebe and Daphne. I enjoy quilting for myself, friends, and profit in my spare time. Whenever possible I love to spend time with friends and family.
